ErdnussLiebe / PeanutLove

DE: Die liebe Cora, Gründerin des jungen Dresdner Labels „ErdnussLiebe“ in dem sie mit ganz viel Liebe und Herz Kinderbekleidung näht, fragte mich, ob ich ihr Logo entwerfen könnte. Sie hatte bereits eine recht klare Idee, war sich aber noch nicht über den genauen Stil bzw. den Abstraktionsgrad der Umsetzung klar. Ich hab insgesamt elf verschiedene Logos im Procreate gezeichnet und sie fand Nummer sieben am besten. Nun ziert das Logo in Form von edlen Lederaufnähern ihre wunderschönen Produkte.
Das Logo ist übrigens ein vereinfachter Pfotenabdruck ihres Hundes „Peanut“ (engl. für Erdnuss), weshalb der Ballen auch wie eine Erdnuss ausgestaltet ist. Und weil die Liebe hier auch ganz wichtig war (da im Labelnamen und den Kleidern selbst zu finden), fand auch noch ein kleines Herz seinen Weg in das Logo.

EN: Lovely Cora,  founder of the young Dresden label „ErdnussLiebe“ (German for PeanutLove) where she sews children’s clothing full of love and heart, asked me to design the brands logo.
She already had a strong idea right at the beginning but was not sure about the exact style and degree of abstraction. In total, I drew eleven different logos (digitally in Procreate) and she decided that number seven would suit her best. Now one can find the new logo as beautiful leather patches on her wonderful products.
The logo by the way is an abstracted paw print of her dog „Peanut“, why the pad is shaped like the nut itself. Of course love was an important theme too (as part of the brands name and the whole sewing process), why a little heart found its way into the logo.
